Hi Everyone! You'll notice that things are looking mighty different around here. I've had lot's of enquiries about the status of our store and it's future and am now finally in a position to spill the beans on what's been going on.
First up the long and short of it is that the store (in both web and brick & mortar guise) is for the time being no more!
I'm enormously proud of what we achieved in one short year but it became apparent during our tenure at Fairfax St that the premises simply was not of a suitable calibre to create the type of boutique environment that SEWN needed to thrive, so we are looking to take the business elsewhere in the city.

After a few disappointments, the search was initially put on hold to enable my partner and I to focus on some major home renovations which I am relieved to say are finally coming to an end (and naturally costing more and taking longer than we'd ever imagined!) but I am elated to announce that we are now expecting a new addition to our family who'll be arriving in May '18 so I've made the decision to reclaim sewing for my own enjoyment for now whilst we weigh up the future of the business after Tiny's arrival.
With that in mind our website has reverted back to blog form for the time being to afford me a space (alongside Instagram) to continue to connect with the wonderful people I've been so privileged to have encountered along the way. I love to see what you're all up to so do please keep in touch!
Happy sewing my friends, ...to new adventures!! x
Congratulations! Exciting times ahead. X
